The series of children’s books I wrote on tough subjects, was originally created because a student of mine was diagnosed with Leukemia and I was unable to find a book that both taught about it and supported young children in understanding sickness. One thing led to another and a story about body image, Covid-19 and bullying came about. I would love to extend to other topics including: separation, depression, learning differences and disability awareness. This series is to help children learn strategies to cope and help them better understand the interconnectedness of the human spirit, no matter the age.
