The Series
The series of children’s books I wrote on tough subjects, was originally created because a student of mine was diagnosed with Leukemia and I was unable to find a book that both taught about it and supported young children in understanding sickness. One thing led to another and a story about body image, Covid-19 and bullying came about. I would love to extend to other topics including: separation, depression, learning differences and disability awareness. This series is to help children learn strategies to cope and help them better understand the interconnectedness of the human spirit, no matter the age.

My View(body image) 497 words- Learning, even the skinny, pretty girl is also uncomfortable in her own skin,
My Voice (bullying) 272 words- You're never too young to set boundaries and stand your ground.
